XIAOMI TO STARTS DEVELOPING ITS OWN CAR

According to Chinese officials, Xiaomi is rapidly working on a project to create its own electric car. The project will start within a month or two. Xiaomi cars will be similar to Xiaopeng cars in China. These will be top models based on advanced information technology. Wang Chuan will be in charge of the project. After this news, the shares of Xiaomi on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange rose to 2.6%. The work on the XIAOMI car will begin in April next month. Although, Xiaomi to starts developing its own car is giving hype by other tech giants.

Previously, Xiaomi released an official statement that denied rumours about the production of the electric car. Earlier the company announced that it is not preparing anything like that. However, Xiaomi Group had always been interested in this project. Unfortunately, the research and development (R&D) of this project has not yet reached the final stage. However, the complete features of an electric car are yet to reveal and the complete details will come after months or two.

Wang Chuan’s is the co-founder and director of strategy for Xiaomi, joined the company in 2012 and headed the department of TV development. Then he also worked in the HR department of the Xiaomi headquarters in China as he became the reliable person of the company. Wang Chuan has excellent experience in creating new products for XIAOMI. As per the various sources, Wang Chuan is looking for workers that are studying technologies and production processes. For the production of the electric car, Wang Chuan is already in contact with some of the top managers of different automobiles companies. From the above analysis, it is clear that Xiaomi has started its homework to develop its own car.
