Twitter has unveiled yet another new feature within Twitter Spaces – a live audio platform. The new update has made composing tweets easier than previous. In addition to this, the new roll out has made Twitter Spaces easier to discover and share. Before this update, the users can publish a tweet while the ongoing live chat or conversation. After this update, the new tweet composer button has been indulged at the bottom of the screen. Furthermore, the new update allows you to directly tweet from Live Spaces. Fortunately, the updates are available for both the major OS i.e. Android and iOS.
Twitter has added more features to its iOS app as compared to the Android version. The iOS version of the app gets new addition ‘guest management’ controls and search features for Spaces. However, the search feature is only available for the beta testers as of now. We’ll be seeing this feature after its beta public test is finished. In addition to this, Twitter has also fixed some bugs or errors in its recent update of the application.

To recall, the update of Spaces was revealed on Twitter via a thread of tweets from the official account of “Twitter Spaces.” The official announcement claimed that both OS users i.e. Android and iOS could directly do tweets from the live Spaces, according to the company. Moreover, after tweeting it will automatically link it with the audio alongside the hashtags of the Spaces. In addition to this, the host of the live audio chat will be added to the tweets shortly once the tweet has been published, as per the reports from the micro-blogging platform.
In the past few weeks, we have reported that the micro-blogging app will allow its desktop or computer users to speak on Spaces. Nima Owji – the developer of the company broke this news from his Twitter account. He further added that while he is speaking through his web app, he had to start the Twitter Spaces from his smartphone app.
The iOS app is getting more features related to Spaces than Android. In the meanwhile, the Beta users of the iOS would be able to search for live and upcoming Spaces by title, host name, and host handle. Interestingly, the company has also announced that all the live and upcoming Spaces have become searchable on its iOS version of the app. However, there is no information or leak on when the new search features of Live Spaces will launch to its Android as well as for desktop users.
One of the main updates for its iOS users is the improved ‘guest management’ controls within the app of iOS. After the update, the control bar is now at the top of the guest management page for becoming more eye-catching or accessible. Last but not the least, the company has added a “section state” option for the host to see the list of their types or total numbers of participants they have in their live audio chat. The lists also include the pending speaker requests.
