Twitter may become stressful with new emoji reactions
Have you ever been browsing through Twitter and thought if this tweet should use some Facebook-style emoji reactions? If yes then you are among the very few people using Twitter. But if no, then you are among the majority who don’t need any emoji reactions. According to the reports and surveys, many people think by using, Twitter may become stressful with new emoji reactions. Nonetheless, the company has been conducting surveys of users from the past month about whether to use emoji reactions or not.
According to the reports, the estimated emojis reactions will contain a laughing face with tears, a thinking face, and a crying face. Moreover, some other variations include shocked faces, angry faces, and fire emojis. Possibly, Twitter could also add a downvote or dislike option under the tweet.
A Twitter spokesperson reveals that they’re experimenting with more ways for people to express their feelings like Facebook. The spokesperson also clears that research is still under the table. There’s a chance of the addition of emojis alongside the heart button. However, the replacing of the “heart” button with emojis is not considered yet. The design chief of Twitter has also indicated that these emojis features might come soon.
Apparently, neither emoji reactions nor downvotes would be a special feature for Twitter. However, Facebook has a set of reactions of emojis that can be seen under the post, image and video.
The reasons mentioned above are considered stressful announcement for many of the users. Because many users who tweet don’t like they received a dislike option. If someone receives a downvote on a tweet, he/she will feel like a personal attack from another. Moreover, it will be an embarrassing and devastating moment for the publisher. Personally, in my opinion, if this step is taken, then it would be interesting for the users of Twitter.
