Trump’s blog has shut down after a month of its launch

Former President of the USA Donald J. Trump’s blog- a website where he used to write his statements and decisions has shut down just after a month of the launch. The spokesperson of Donald J. Trump revealed the news of shutting the website of Trump.  On Wednesday, the spokesman of the EX- President revealed that after the ex-prsident was banned from several social media giants, decided to launch his own website namely “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump”. As a reminder, Facebook and Twitter banned him after the call of his deadly riots in the capital of the USA. Trump’s blog has been shut down because it was not engaging any traffic. According to CNBC, the blog or website won’t be returning as the trump Desk officials are finding alternatives for his official statements or decisions. After the shutting of his blog, the old blog posts or articles are now archived as press releases in a separate section of the website.

Additionally, the ex-president and his allies have always allegations of using social media in their own interest. The former president of America alleged using social media giants for political biasness and prone to censoring conservatives. Therefore, the Trump’s administration decided to roll out a new platform as an alternative to social media.  As per Trump’s officials, they have all the information on the next platform in the near future. Moreover, after his ban from Facebook and Twitter, Donald Trump planned to launch his own competitor internet medium.

According to the reports of The Wall Street Journal, Trump’s administration had talks with the platforms including CloutHub and FreeSpace for his new messaging medium. The Wall Street Journal claimed that Trump isn’t looking for equity in the new platform. However, if he joins one of these two platforms then what would be the fee of joining the platforms?

According to the reports in the last month, Trump’s blog gained only 212,000 total engagements or traffic; a much lower engagement rate than his previous tweets. This was the main reason behind the Trump’s shutting down his website as he was unable to drive traffic or audience towards its blog. Also, as per the stats, the blog was only getting one-fourth traffic as compared to his Twitter and other social media apps.
