If the group members cross 200k then it converts into “Broadcast Group”. However, the broadcast group comes with a restriction. Only admins can post in the Broadcast Groups, but all can read. Nevertheless, the group members can participate in group voice chats. This update indicates that the messaging service intends to keep on growing while prioritizing user needs.
