Redmi’s gaming phone is releasing at the end of this month

A while ago, Xiaomi owned sub-brand Redmi announced launching its new gaming beast smartphone. However, the released date was not officially announced. But today company announced a big statement that Redmi’s gaming phone is releasing at the end of this month. However, Chinese mobile makers didn’t reveal any specs or features about its upcoming gaming smartphone. Moreover, Redmi announced its collaboration with the famous Battle Royal Game known as Call of Duty Mobile for its launching. The company’s collaboration with Call of Duty Mobile ensures the gaming smartphone.

When you heard the term a gaming smartphone, you would probably think of brands like ASUS, Black Shark, RedMagic and even Lenovo now, but not Redmi as it is considered the budget smartphone.  To overcome this situation, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has taken steps for making a gaming smartphone. Redmi plans to initiate making a gaming smartphone begins in the previous year. In the previous year, Redmi’s official was forced by the users to launch a gaming smartphone also under budget price range. Therefore, Redmi finally decided to launch its gaming-friendly smartphone.

Specifications of Redmi’s new Phone:

Unfortunately, Redmi didn’t reveal any specs about its upcoming model. However, leakers leaked some specs of upcoming gaming mobile.

  • The upcoming model would not use any flagships’ chipsets like Qualcomms’ Snapdragon 888. As per leaks, the phone could use the Dimensity 1200 chip. The Dimensity 1200 chipset is MediaTek’s new flagship silicon processor that probably will be used in a wide range of more budget-friendly smartphones this year. Furthermore, Redmi also plans to use this chip in its other devices that too are affordable. Unfortunately, if we look at the processor everyone would be so unhappy.
  • However, the battery will be a powerhouse also with fast charging.  The phone will come up with a 5,000 mAh battery and that will support  65W charging.
  • The estimated price tag will be between $305-380 as per sources.
  • The gaming smartphone will come with a flat OLED panel as well as a punch-hole selfie camera
