Realme MagDart wireless charger comes to Android for the first time

Similar to Apple’s MagSafe, Realme is also planning to launch its magnetic wireless charging in its upcoming device – Realme Flash. Realme flash is the flagship smartphone that will be powered Snapdragon 888 processor. The sources also revealed the image of the MagDart charger. According to various reports, the company aims to roll out two variants of MagDart, one that will be debuting in the Realme Flash and could be heavier or bulkier. On the other hand, the second variant of the charging device will be slim, perhaps slimmer than Apple’s MagSafe.

As per the speculated image all across the websites, the bulkier magnetic charger will be having a fan to dissipate heat. Hence, the main drawback of the wireless charger will be its heating. On the other hand, the underdeveloped wireless charger (one with a slim design) will not come with the pre-installed fan for the heating problem. The sleeker-design model also supports 15W charging speed, which is considered to be the fastest in the history of smartphones’ wireless charging till date.

Unfortunately, in-depth details, such as charging rates or speed are still unknown for this magnetic charger; however, many amazing specs are expected to launch in the future. Moreover, the wireless charger will also have a USB-C type connector.

As a reminder, Realme flash will be the first handset in the smartphone industry that will be featuring a wireless magnetic charger. We expect other OEMs to follow a similar step in the charging tech so that we can see charging without wires.
