Microsoft Surface Duo 2 could unveil with a triple camera module
Microsoft is planning to launch its Surface Duo 2 in the last quarter of this year. The tipped images from the tipsters have shown us the actual camera setup or module. According to the speculated images on several authentic websites, the Surface Duo 2 from Microsoft will be having a triple rear camera setup. Initially, the images were shown in the YouTube video, later confirmed by credible authorities (Windows Central). Therefore, there’s a chance of release of releasing this gadget in September or October of 2021.
As per the leaks, the camera module could be the only possible change from its predecessor. The three-camera setup is rumored to come up with telephoto, ultrawide angle, and standard lens. On the other hand, the backside of the device is very much similar to already existing flagship Android smartphones. While in the case of a USB slot, the Duo 2 will have it on the right side of it. The fingerprint sensor appears to be near the volume buttons situated on the side of the device.
The leaked images give us the idea of minor changes in the device except for the camera setup and the under the hood software. Many experts and analysts believed that the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 5G network connectivity, and also an NFC chip for payments. The two display screens might be bigger in size as compared to its older version. In addition to this, a thinner bezel is also shown in the YouTube video.
As of now, only two colors of Duo have been leaked i.e., Black and White.
Many users were curious about the display screen of the Duo 2, as some of them thought that Microsoft will try a foldable screen likewise Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3, instead of the typical dual-screen of the Duo series.
Notably, the predecessor of Surface Duo hasn’t received the Android 11 on its platform, therefore, the main challenge for the software giant will be of improving the software updates in the upcoming device. Moreover, the other issues in the previous device include:
- A day to day issues, including multitasking and many gestures on the display screen
- Screen turning off during book mode or reading the content on the device.
- The lockups using the fingerprint sensors
