Infinix’s next handset might come up with a 160W fast-charging

The smartphones from China including models like Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, iQOO 5 Pro, iQOO 7, Black Shark 4 series, Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro, and Nubia Z30 come up with a charging speed of 120W. However, the concept of 160W rapid charging was never on the mind of anyone around the world. But this idea of fast charging came into the mind of Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturers. As per the upcoming reports from various tech websites, Infinix is working on a 160W fast-charging adaptor. Notably, the news was broken by XDA-Developers by sharing an image of an upcoming Infinix-branded 160W fast adaptor.

Therefore, there’s a possibility that after some time the company could launch a smartphone that will have the support of a charging speed of 160W. As we all know, Infinix mainly focuses on mid-range or mid-flagships smartphones therefore there’s a chance that the mobile which supports this fast charging could be a flagship model. Moreover, the phone which could support this type of charging will clearly have top-notched specs or features. The handset model which will be labelled as 160W charging has not been revealed yet.

To recall, Infinix has been manufacturing smartphones around the world since 2013. Moreover, the target audience of the company is developing markets such as Egypt, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Since, there is only news of fast charging adaptor, you should wait till further updates with a pinch of salt. Since we all don’t know the exact date and smartphone model to whom this charger will be dedicated, there’s a chance that this charging type could be more suitable for tablets or laptops. Just a reminder, Infinix has started manufacturing and selling its laptops in the markets of Egypt, Indonesia, and Nigeria. On the contrary, the company is selling laptops without a dedicated graphics card, so there’s no need for this fast charging, though. As a result, there’s also a possibility that this rapid charging adaptor could also come up with laptops or tablets.

Recently, Infinix launched its Note 10 and Note 10 Pro models globally that feature a 6.95 in the display screen and come up with the operating system of Android 11. Also, these phones come with the MediaTek G95 SoC and most importantly with a charging speed of 18W. However, 18W isn’t fast charging though. As per unofficially reports and tipsters, this fast-charging adaptor could be officially launched in the last quarter of this year. Till then, you have to wait or use average fast chargers if you are willing for fast chargers.
