At last, Honor 50 and 50 Pro will have 3C certification, according to the sources. As we all know, Huawei’s so-called sub-brand, Honor will be rolling out its flagship devices in the next month. The Honor 50 and the Honor 50 Pro comes with the model number of NTH-AN00 and RNA-AN00 respectively. Before the news of the 3C certification of the devices, the leaks of both the handsets had been rolled out to the market. The Honor 50 will come up with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. On the other hand, the Honor 50 Pro rumoured to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. However, the news of Honor’s new flagship devices also came after the Chinese 3C certificate.

As a reminder, 3C certification stands for CCC or China CCC Certification. The CCC is a compulsory product certification for Chinese markets within China. Regardless of the 3C certificate, no digital products could be imported into China. The China CCC Certification aims to protect the security, health, and hygiene of the people of China. No products especially mobile phones, laptops or any other smart devices will import to Chinese markets. Moreover, the list of the products that require CCC certification include:

• Smartphones, tablets or laptops
• Motor vehicles
• Wire and cables
• Telecommunication terminals
• Audio and video devices
• Electric cars

Also, there are 23 categories of products that require 3C certification.

According to reports 3C, these devices of the Honor 50 series will be powered with 66W and 100W power adapters respectively. The Honor 50 and 50 Pro will come up with 4000mAh and 4,400 mAh batteries respectively. These devices will be having the latest OS of Android i.e. Android 11. Moreover, the flagship devices will be available in the colours of black, blue, green and white.

Previously, there are also rumoured of the resemblance of the Honor 50 series with the Huawei nova8 Pro handset. The Honor’s 50 series will be coming with a pill-shaped camera setup that contains two rings. As per the reveals, the Honor 50 variants will have a single main camera in the upper ring. On the contrary, there will be two more cameras in the lower ring of the device. The three cameras set up on the back will consist of a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide and an 8MP telephoto camera, as per the leaks. Also, there’s a possibility of a periscope lens in the camera. As per reports, the selfie cameras will come up with 32MP + 8MP but with different focal lengths of the lens. Furthermore, you can also record 4K videos from the back cameras.

The display of Honor 50 is expected to have a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen. Under the screen, there will be a fingerprint scanner for unlocking your phone. Additionally, the handset will have a 120Hz refresh rate.The device contains a GPU of Mali-G77. The Honor 50 will have a 91.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The device will have a 1440p+ resolution for Full HD + videos and good graphics. However, in case of RAM and storage, the two variants of 50 series will be powered by 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The flagship devices will support 5G connectivity. Although the estimated price of Honor 50 is 700 USD.
