Facebook launches new COVID-19 profile frames. From now, Facebook users can now let their Facebook friends know about the vaccination of COVID-19 by adding a frame on their profile picture.

The social media platform, Facebook in its new update has launched COVID-19 profile frames and stickers. The reason for the update is to encourage users to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Because many people around the world have doubts about the vaccine of COVID 19. Facebook aims to clear the doubts about the vaccine of the corona. Many people are creating propaganda against the vaccination of COVID 19. To overcome the allegations and issues of vaccine, Facebook has taken this step.

There has been a sudden increase in the number of COVID cases since the third wave of the virus. The tech companies and social media platforms including Facebook are spreading awareness about the vaccine in their own respective ways in their platforms. In a blog post, Facebook announced that more and more people will be vaccinating by seeing the other people vaccinated they trust or they follow.

By using frames, the profile picture will highlight who has taken the vaccine and who hasn’t. Furthermore, Facebook has collaborated with the US Department of Health and Human Services commonly known as (HHS) and with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Likewise, in the US, in UK Facebook has rolled out its profile picture frames in partnership with National Health Services.

Facebook message on frame:

In the coming weeks or a month, Facebook will show their users in their news feed about who has taken the vaccine and who hasn’t. The frame of the profile picture carries the inspirational message of “I got my COVID-19 vaccine” and Let’s get vaccinated”. Likewise Facebook, Instagram has also rolled out the new sticker of “Let’s get vaccinated”. The sticker can be used in photos, stories, videos and maybe in the comment section. The sticker of Instagram has been rolled out globally since its last update. The company aims to inspire more and more people to get the vaccine. Facebook has claimed that one person encourages other, and it also helps in clearing the fake information of vaccine.
