Death Stranding PC Earned €23 Million in Revenue
Digital Bros, the parent company of the death stranding has released the financial report for the year 2020. In the financial report, the company claimed that Death stranding PC earned €23 Million in revenue. According to the sources, over 66 per cent of the revenue was generated from only PC platform in 2020. When it comes to Dollars the revenue becomes about $27.3 million. Surprisingly, the revenue generated was only since its launch in July. However, in terms of revenue, it performed better than the game of Control and Ghostrunner. Moreover, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo platforms only comprised about 28 per cent of revenue for this game. Also in June 2020, Death Strandings becomes the only game on YouTube that’s trailer was watched with more than 4.5 M views.
Previously, Death Strandings was launched only for PS4, but later it was announced to be launched on PC and other platforms. Keeping one thing in mind that this game was released in July 2020 so the income, profit or revenue of 23 million Euros comes from the first 5 months. After five months of its launch, the sale decreased a little bit due to new games. Thus, the decision to launch a game other than PlayStation was the right one. However, the hype of death strandings has not been decreased.
Digital Bros’ New Game:
After huge revenue generated, there’re also rumours that Digital Bros and Kojima Productions are working on a new game. The parent company of Death Strandings and production team are known as Kojima Productions will be launching a new game. Similarly, the new game will also be available on PC as a result seen from their previous game i-e Death Strandings. Moreover, the company claimed that they had earned enough amount of money that they can afford to develop and launch a new game. Moreover, the game gurus suggest that it is too early for the developers to launch another game in a short period of time.
