Android 12 gets app notification update
Before releasing the most useable OS in the smartphone industry i.e. Android, the developers are releasing its preview. Likewise, in previous versions of Android, Android 12 gets app notification update known as DP3. However, there’s only a minor update in the notification bar in the upcoming Android 12. Therefore, there will be not a fully fledge update. In this upcoming feature of Android 12, Google is adjusting the layout of stacked notifications by relocating the notification count of a particular app. As a reminder, the development of Android 12 has been nearly completed. Moreover, two preview versions of this OS have already been released. Furthermore, the third preview version is likely to be launched soon.
The leaks of a new feature for preview include the minor notification relocation. In Android 11, the notification count of a certain app was under the pop-up of app notification. But from now, if you have more than one notification of a particular app, then the notification badge will be at the front of the app. This means the notification count badge of the app will be located at the right top corner of the bar. Additionally, the badge will be even highlighted in accordance with the app’s icon colour. The notification count’s colour will be similar to the app’s colour.
This new update will not only give your notification bar space also enhances the visibility of the bar for the reader. Moreover, the colour of the notification bar will also be changed according to the theme of your device. As we all know this feature is only available for preview by the developer. It might come up with other alterations. We only have to wait and watch before releasing Android 12 that will probably launch in the upcoming months. As per the leaks, most probably Android 12 will be releasing in August of this year.
